I've been searching about the big brake kits, and can't seem to come to a conclusive answer to wheel size. I've seen some say it only fits on 17 inch rims or higher, and others say it fits on 16s.

My question is will the big brake kits fit on an Anniversary edition with the anniversary edition OZ wheels?

Which big brake kit. You ask like there is only one.

The factory dual piston caliper upgrade fits under the 1G 16" swirlies. It looks like this EVO IV has the 6.5" wide version the wheel in question and the factory dual piston caliper with the same rotor as the 2G AWD cars.

I doubt anything bigger than the 2G AWD front brake will fit. The same caliper on the Outlander brackets are likely to hit and any aftermarket kit is unlikely to work with those wheels.

I did an Outlander swap on my 95 TSi AWD. They fit under the stock 16 inch rims. There isn't much extra room near the calipers buy they fit. You have to bend the sheet metal backing plate a little bit or the rotors rub.

I honestly did not know there were multiples. I only knew about the 3kgt and brembo kits. I didn't know about the outlander/gsx/bare brake kit. And I assumed that the 3kgt and brembo kits would have a similar fitament with wheels...

okay got lots of information on all of the upgrade paths. Seems like the most reasonable for me is the GSX upgrade (since this is a DD first and foremost).

However, I can't seem to find (aside from on eBay) a good set of rotors and pads.. and I'm a bit leery of going to eBay for something like this...
