My car started dieing when stoping and idleing rough after I would run it hard, it would run fine as long as I drove it normal,

Anyway after it started dieing I did a intake pressure leak test to see if a boost leak was causing the dieing and I found a leak on the backside of my turbo, on the actual turbo itself, not the housing or where it connects to the housing, the air is coming out from under the lip on the backside, it leaks air from the top right next to the oil intake fitting,

I have never seen or heard of this, does this mean my turbo is shot? It has no shaft play and spins freely. Does anyone sell a gasket for this? And most important could this be causing my dieing after hard driving????? :confused:
 
Hey I've had the same problem too. When the turbo kicks in, and i hit the clutch, the rpm goes all the way to 0 and stalls but if i drive normally its fine. I adjusted the idler and that helped a little.
 
When you say idler, do you mean biss screw??

Also I took my car out this morn and drove it around 20-30 minutes and I noticed thess differances from when it was running good.

#1. The engine is spudering/missing like while it's cold(fine when it warms) it never did this before the probs began.

#2. My Air/Fuel gauge reads real slow, it stays lean untill the motor is warm, after 5 minutes it starts acting normal(it never did this before the probs).

#3. I am 100% sure it runs fine when I drive it normal, but right after I get on it hard ,it starts dieing at stops and super rough idle.

What could cause all this???Could it be the boost leak on my turbo.....My ecu is new,rebuilt a year ago..I have new Taylor 8.5 wires and a new coil pack,,,what is the deal,any advise at all please...
