Im planning on going with a SAFC/2 and pocket logger for tuning, unless this is uneccesarry, or if theres a better alternative (other tools that are easier to use).

What do you guys recommend, or am I on the right track of mind?

I have an SAFC II on my 98 eclipse i don't really feel a difference if i turn down the fuel correction or anything but if your boosting more you want more fuel to be in the air mixture so you don't granade your engine but it is useful to monitor revs, throttle, knock (badddd), and correction (if you are) all at once.

Fill out your vehicle profile and we can help you out better.

As far as tuning goes, they all have there pros/cons. And you won't really find an answer to the best tuning device since many people have different opinions. As far as what I think, I would say the best would be a chipped eprom ECU set-up to your specs and fine-tuned with an AFC.

DSMlink all the way. Even if your car is bone stock, I still feel that it would be one of the best mods you could do. It doesn't cost that much more than an AFC/logger combo.....especially when you figure in that you will eventually sell your AFC/logger to buy DSMlink....we all do!
