I have a 98 spyder and want to make it look good whats the biggest upgrade

Leave it stock, but lower it about 1.5 inch

I would love to do this to my spyder but I drag the front end all of the time now going in and out of driveways.

Wash, wax, and detail.

Also does your top leak? Nothing ruins a date like water dripping on the girls thigh. If it does then grab an allen wrench and loosen a tiny screw on each convertible latch then just twist the hooks in one turn. Also pull the weather stripping from where the windshield meets your windows and you'll find two small pieces of rubber tube that are now crushed closed from age and use. Rip them out and throw them in the garbage then put your weatherstripping back together.

Otherwise you can always add a rollbar. It adds safety and style.

I disagree. I think the big wing looks ### on a drop top. It looks cool while the top is up, but once you drop it...its garbage.

IDK man.
Do what you like, its your car and your taste, so can satisfy that better than anyone.
I just say slam it and add atleast an 18" wheel. Maybe an exhaust

Here is one of each:

^^^ Throw on some slightly smoked clear sidemarkers in the front, looks great though.

I really miss mine now... 98 spyder GST, barcelona red, tein springs, fmic, etc etc etc... It looked amazing with just those little subtle things.

I have mixed feelings about the turbo wing conversion, how much work was involved?

I do not think it is a lot of work, but I hadmine done at a body shop. It entailed filling the holes from the original wing and then drilling new holes for the turbo wing. It fits right on the edges of the trunk lid. I've seen some where rubber plugs are put into the holes to seal them, but I wanted a cleaner look. Oh, and thanks for the comment GsXdSmKingGsX!
