Cleaned and detailed my GSX about a week ago, didn't have much time so I parked it in my drive way, took the camera out and ended up with my favorite picture I've ever taken of my car.

This is the best I have in it's most current shape. Side strakes are on hand and paint is on track to be finished before the middle of July

Nope, not without some extensive modification. Nothing lines up and there is a really bad gap. The curvature of the hatch glass is very different from the lack of curvature on the convertible. My parts car is a 95 TSi, so I actually tried it out and took pictures but have since pulled them off my FTP.

However, I opted to do something a little different with my spoiler. Everyone goes wingless, but IMHO, it leaves the back end bland. I'll be shaving my factory third brake light and have wired in a coupes in the spoiler. There's one more thing I've done with my spoiler, but I'll leave that to you to find it. ;)

While subtile, it cleans up low rise significantly. It's so subtile and clean it may take you a while to figure it out.

Not subtle to me. LOL That's unfortunate that the Talon spoilers won't work on the Spyder decklid, I was looking forward to one day owning a Spyder and doing a complete 2gb Talon body on it.

My workhorse is a 2g N/T so I'm very familiar with the low rise. You did a clean job removing that center post, how did you run the brake light wiring though and do you plan on removing the 3rd brake light LED strip from the trunk lid of the Spyder?

I drilled a hole through the left "leg" and decklid, strung it through and included a disconnect so that I can remove the spoiler without having to cut wires. I'm fully intending to eliminate the factory third.

So many people swapping spyders to talons.. Makes me not even want to do the swap anymore... :sosad:

Haha, I was swapped before I'd even talked to you at the shootout.

Oh damn I love the way the Talon looks as a convertible.. I almost had an aneurysm trying to comprehend what the hell I was looking at.. But sometimes it pays to read I'm not sure I've ever seen a convertible talon swap looks so pretty.. Is it also all wheel drive swap?

EDIT: Just saw on your profile it's AWD.. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLnWf1sQkjY&feature=youtube_gdata_player[/ame]
