Best setup for Highway/Some AutoX (shocks, springs, ect)

I will have an 8 point cage in the car in a few months .. main reason is cause its a project for school and i get to use my own car as the donor.. but my main thoughts for the car are a highway racer (cause its fwd) and a car that can take some auto x abuse but hold its own.

Mods are listed in the profile i beleive they are up to date ..

I was thinking of going with KYB AGX's .. and an Eibach pro kit for springs ..

There will be extensive strengthening done to the chassis while at school so i can stiffen it up a bit .. any one that has any suggestions for me please.. id love to hear them

I have FWD remember .. with that in mind is that still a good set up? Also i dont want to be bouncing down the road .. will i be alright with those coilovers or will i be bouncing everywhere.?

Like everyone Id like to have nice setup i can drive comfortably when im on the street but adjust it if necessary to handle good when i need it to.


Anyone else have suggestions?

Man honestly it all depends on what money you put down! Money is everything. KYB AGX's are good if you are on a budget, but why not save up a little and get some Koni's or even a true coilover such as Hotbits, Tein or JIC?

Once again, it's all down to money.

I suggest you hit up the classifieds and find some used suspension with low mileage.

Yeah if this car was dedicated to road racing Id consider Tein ect .. just because i know its top of the line ..

For my uses though i was under the impression the AGX's and Prokit were a pretty nice set up .. id buy coil overs if they wouldnt be bouncing me all over the place every time i hit a bump.
