running my guages from the pillar, where is the best place to tap into a 12 volt source to power them? btw i dont want to have them on the dimmer but a constant powersource thats turned on with the key...

If you want an IGN source, tap them into the same IGN source that your CD player/radio is operating off of. I've done that for several of my IGN-on electrical gauges.

I put mine through my cigerette lighter. It was simple and it only had two wires to it. I didn't want to put mine into the ignition because I use that every day and it could come lose some how. (not if you solder) I never use the cigerette lighter so I just feel move comfortable.

Bingo, I second this. Just pop out the driver side center console panel and you'll see it.
