Easy 12 volt wiring tap solution?

Finally got my AEM electronic boost gauge. So I was looking for an easy 12 volt source to tap into. As it turns out the bolt that holds the fuse box by the drivers left knee is an excellent ground. I also noticed it would be super easy to pull the 10 A gauges fuse in same area, bend/spread the wire you want to use over a leg of the fuse and reinsert. I haven't read of anyone recommending this method. Maybe some of you could weigh in the wisdom (or lack thereof) of trying this.

You can do that or use a fuse tap.

Personally I would tap the cigarette lighter, easy 12v source to access and tap.
