My friend wants to get a professional tune from someone that really knows what they're doing with dsmlink. He lives in Carthage, IL but is willing to drive within about 3 hours.

His car: '95 GSX, built 6bolt 2.0 block and ported head, 280 cams, borg warner s258, 3'' exhaust, FIC 1600's, aeromotive afpr, dsmlink v3, gm maf, currently street tuned on e-85 conservatively by the previous owner. supposedly makes around 500-550whp, ran 11.5 @ 129 at the end of the 2012 season

Are there any good shops down in St. Louis?

Some other places he'd be willing to drive: peoria, bloomington, springfield, iowa city/cedar rapids,davenport/rock island, east moline

He doesn't want to go all the way up to Chicago, even though i keep trying to convince him to take it to Boostin Performance.

If he's willing to drive roughly an hour and a half more than what he originally wants to then I'd say go to boostin performance in hoffman estates IL!

there is a guy in ballwin mo named jason stange. he is on gatewaydsm as jrstange. He is my tuner and the only guy i let tune my car. guy is a computer software tuning nerd. Its all street tuning but will not blow up your car. he is very safe and explains everything to full detail to help you understand. I trust him 100% with anything with my car. his is a stock motor with a 20g that pulls on r6s get on gdsm gatewaydsm.org the local guys can help you. i wouldnt take my car to adrenaline, or pur performance. if any shop maybe matt at htp in high ridge but idk if he even tunes. just my 0.2
