Hi,

I have a 96 gsx. I was wondering what is the best place to probe a temp sender. It is a 1/2 inch I believe. Any pics of link to a site would help too thanks.

RRE has some radiator hose adapter as their website for the Greddy gauges, but they are a smaller 1/4 npt fitting if I am not mistaking, I would install it in the lower rad hose since if you run low on coolant the upper hose is going to fill with hot steam where as the lower hose will still read the actual coolant temp (which will get hot).

Thanks, I was wondering the same thing, being that I may buy a water temp gauge in the next few days.

I put mine in the stock location since i din;t think my stock one was accurate, plus there is no need for to of the same guages.

oh yeah here is a link to the piece the RRE sells, (look towards the bottom of the page) http://www.roadraceengineering.com/greddygauges.htm

I have one of these that I made homemade out of brass actually, but my problem is that it needs to be grounded. Has anyone been able to get something that will stick to brass and conduct electricity well enough for a ground?

Also, I have an oil temp guage in but that gives a crappy reading too. If anyone knows of a good spot for that please do tell.

Thanks
Alex

hmm looks pretty good. Anyone know how I could ground my brass coupler easily?
