Yeah, the GR-2's made a huge difference over the stock blown shocks on my car too. I am running them with 1g AWD front springs (a little bit stiffer than the FWD springs) and stock FWD rear springs right now (my car is a 1g FWD). I think I may try a set of pro-kits or something around a 1.3 inch drop (I'd like a 2" drop... but my driveway entrance and intercooler wouldnt). I'm gonna try them with the GR-2's and see what happens. If they handle poorly I'll get AGX's right away, I just hate to replace the brand new shocks and struts I just put on not long ago. I wasnt planning on lowering it till I just got these 17" wheels... now I neeeed to lower it, or it will look like a roller skate. btw.. I wasnt aware they even made illumina's for a 1g... do they?
