Best hi-flow cat?

so I had an apex'i dp. my dad saw that I didn't have a cat and took the liberty of having one welded in for me. :thumbdown so now I would like to replace it with a hi-flow cat. what is the best 3inch cat? is a "hi-flow" even worth it vs. whatever the shop threw in there?

High-Flow is better than a stock style cat.

I don't think any one HF cat is better than another. I personally have a a Catco HF cat.

that and the catco is carb exempt, meaning its legal in 49 states.

California, I believe, because California has so many freaking rules about modifying cars and stuff, it's not even funny. I believe you can be cited over there if you're pulled over and have an exhaust tip on a stock muffler.

exactly, everytiome I read the catco spot in summit it says carb exempt, but not legal in california.

I say just get whichever hi-flow cat is cheapest. They are all basically the same. Mine is some no-name nonsense but it works just fine and let me pass emissions.
