The xenarc car pc has a 6 channel surround sound
and
the ksd has a 5.1 , so isnt the Xenarc sound better ??

How do you control the mp3 playback? a mouse? or does the touchscreen actually work well?

Do you make those cases yourself?

i dont make the cases myself, i order them online along with the other parts. i have touchscreen and it works perfectly. i also have a keyboard in also incase i need it for something else. Its nice having tons of movies, a few thousand songs and anything else i need on hand

not really, most of our cars don't have 'center channel' speakers. just 2 front, 2 rear and sub.

Just to correct you the KSD system is Dolby 5.1 which is a 6 speaker system. Anything Dolby 5.1 is a 6 speaker system...

L/front, center, R/front
L/rear, subwoofer, R/rear

Both systems have the same sound/quality/channel output.

Here's my interior....

whoa whoa!! hold up, dsmnate that dash is ####ing badd ass! is that a one off or can they be made again by someone I am really digging the carbon with the gauge pod built into the side of the dash like that.

DSMNate, props. That looks incredible. I don't think thats carbon fiber. I think he just fiberglassed his dash, sanded it, painted, and cleared. Very nice job. I like the S-AFC mounting too. Did you do something with the passanger airbag? It looks bigger.

I made the dash myself. What you think is carbon is actually Logan Silver Metallic paint to match the bottom of my car. The paint scheme goes from the outside to the inside.

If there is enough interest I could make a mold or just build custom ones for people.
If you are interested in having one built for you just PM me and we can discuss the possiblilty of me building a custom dash for you.

The passenger Air Bag is just covered in Black Suede. I didnt' want to fiberglass that because if, God Forbid, something would cause the air bag to go off and it was covered with fiberglass it could get very ugly. I figured Suede was a much better choice.

When I get time I intend to build a PS2/TV pod to sit in the place of the passenger air bag so that I can swap that in for shows and have the normal airbag for driving.
