Ok there are tons of you DSM'ers with awesome cars and fully modded cars from inside to out. So I wanna see who has the best "cockpit" on DSMtuners. Including everything from drivers seat to gauge clusters. Lets get some custom work up here and see what ya got.

(My cockpit is in pieces right now  ) Sorry no pic

not really a big fan of the colored interiors.. its really hard to match it up if there is that stock grey color anywhere.. just doesnt seem to flow.. unless its black..

which brings me to one of the interiors i really like.. there are others but forgot whos and cant find the pics..

but here is member dsm's 99 GS-T

it helps that he has the stock 99 all black interior.. but i feel that is THE best way u can get any 2g interior to look.. the gauge placements, system, electronics (greddy stuff) placement.. look nicely done.. and its clean.

right now his interior is what im basing mine to be similar to.. well not exactly.. but just the placement of the tt,ebc, type of shift knob.. heh.. im stuck with the 95 bland grey..

man those are some bright ass gauges. Is that just for show or do u do have that all the time

got any pics of the gauges during the day? is it transparent? also...how secure is your phone next to that window?

both of you guys with the LCD screens, what models are they any links to specs on them. did they come with your CD/DVD player or were they separate. and how can you get to your HVAC controls, do they swivel or something? thanks

I have the same thing as they do. It is a motorized screen that comes straight out, then flips up.

Just for the remark about the seats, I'm not telling you where I got it. :thumbdown :p

Kidding. I got the idea off "the other board" from a guy. Go to an auto store and get some exhaust strap hanger. It's flexible sheet metal with holes in it every half inch or so. Then paint it black. Remove the trim piece from the radio and use the top right exisiting screw and secure the hanger with the screw. Bend it to how you want it, put the trim piece back on (may have to do some filing to it where the strap comes out, I did), attach velcro to it and the Palm, and voila.

here some of mine, its obviously not done yet, but it will be in a couple of weeks. i have to still do the doors, put the seats in(new ones) and put it all back together.

i like mine alot, especially how easy it is for me to in and out of the car, since the bottom of the wheel is flat.( im too tall, it was hard before) but the only thing that i cant figure out is how to hook up the horn and stuff, without the wires twisting up when you turn. because you have to take out that swivel thing behind the stock steering wheel. it aint that big of deal to me but i bought 2 external buttons as well and i cant hook them up. YET, i will figure something out

Hey '96 Talon Tsi I love your interior man. I am going with the red and black in my ctalon too but right now I only have the red done. What did you use to black out the leather/vinyl and plastic?
