Best "Cockpit"

Hey '96 Talon Tsi I love your interior man. I am going with the red and black in my ctalon too but right now I only have the red done. What did you use to black out the leather/vinyl and plastic?

All the plastic is red. I used dupli-color paint. I got it at autozone, its abot $4.00 a can. For the leather/vinyl i used the vinyl stuff dupli-color makes. Check out my thread about my interior project.. it has some info in it.

Yeah, those are stock 1gb seats. Just like mine. Quite comfy actually.

imo.. the 99 all black leather interior in the eclipse is the best interior u can possibly get for the 2G.. and just add a few touches to it such as dsm's and TSiAWD666's.. and u got urself a sleek simple yet upto date with the times interior..

new plan of action. earlier i posted i would be painting all my black and tan interior to red black and silver. well i decided all black would look good with a silver knob, pedals and othe various things. i just ordered black carpet im really glad i have a black dash right now...

Like i said before, give me about 2 weeks and you'll see my all black interior. Black carpet, all my plastioc pieces will be black, black dash, carbon headliner, carbon armrest, etc. It will be all black with all black faced/silver bezel'd cobalt gauges. Any lights are blue (gauges, stereo, dvd player, carPC, dash, etc). I might throw some neons under the dash where the pedals are, but I'm unsure about that yet. they will be tucked up under there and out of the way, what do you guys think about that?

Will be an interior after my own heart!!! Sounds like the same route I am taking...minus the kick ass stereo/computer setup and the Cobalt guages. Hey bOOsted, IMO the neons will look good under the dash...just keep the lite bar hidden well.

Well obviously you see alot of TVs and guage setup in that spot. I always see them built outward though. Maybe "french" a TV setup in there so it sits in the airbag hole. Less glare, hidden better (for what that is worth ). I do not know if you plan on glassing your dash but if you did that would look cool with it finished and recessed in the dash...TV, not guages, they would sit too far in and you wouldn't see them anyhow.

heres mine got some goodies......boost and airfuel in the pillar iol pressure in the lighter ( soon to be an egt gauge ) safc mounted over radio......and lighter in kick pannle anywyas here it is

Here's my poonpit, err cockpit. Only rice inside is the shift boot, but with the top of my shiftknob's color and exterior of the car it goes quite well. Lots of carbon fiber inside (dash, bezel, door vents) and some other tiny details.

hey boosted Gsx where are you putting your carputer? im working on saving up the money for the same deal, im taking the airbag out, building a fiberglass surrounding for my 7inch lcd and putting the computer in the glove box. im somewhat of a pro when it comes to putting computers in cars check this out.

the computer i built for him is going in a single din slot with everything but the power supply mounted in the case. My computer is mounted in the hatch with usb cables under the carpeting to power the touchscreen/ bluetooth adaptor and dvd rom.
