bent fins intercooler

Would a few bent fins on a intercooler affect flow or leak. They are at the bottom. The bottom plate is kinda bent up in one spot, very small spot.

Yes it will affect flow but it doesn't look like it would affect it majorly. I do not think that intercooler is worth it imo.

What intercooler kit do you think would be good on a budget. Punishment FMIC?

Yea, just shop around. You usually can get a good deal on a nice front mount core in the classifieds. Then just buy a universal piping kit from ebay and run it short route. I shopped around and got a good deal on a PTE core on craigslist and then bought the piping off ebay. Just make sure to get piping that has a nice bead. Or you can always do it yourself.

Yeah, that thing is not even worth $120. Probably $50. Def. keep looking around and you will find a good FMIC or get a Supra sidemount.

True and the Mishi is warrantied so if it gets bent up in an accident or something they will replace it

Take some tweezers to the bent fins and pluck them out. works every time for me.

I have that kit cx/pr kit and I bought it used for 200 shipped. just search or that kit if you have the budget.
