bent fins on exhaust side only?

what would cause this? I was taking apart a friends turbo and the intake side looks clean but the hot side the fins are broke. Antilag?

Debris going thru the turbine, turbine hitting the housing or high egt's.

High EGT's, too much exhaust restriction, or turbine housing erosion.

How did the manifold to turbo gasket look, was it in one piece when unbolting the turbo?
