It's been a while since I've followed this board. I've had a real bad itch to buy a crotch rocket in the past month but instead I've decided to work on my car.

Tonight I started the process of going through all the 8 year old wiring under my dash. I had some gauges that were stolen, a turbo timer that I never use and some other BS wires that I completely removed. The only thing hooked up in there now is my HKS EVC-EZ (which I am not sure even does any good on my car at the moment plus, I cannot find any of the inline filters for the tubing, the ones on there now are nasty).

I am going to be replacing my clutch (94k on stock clutch), brakes, and all belts pretty soon. Top down maintenance is the goal. I want to get my car back in pristine shape mechanically and electrically before I continue with any mods.

Sorry for the run on post, I just want to say thanks for this forum and the solid advice. I've owned my GST since it was new in '99 and don't foresee ever getting rid of it. :hellyeah:

that is a good place to start and when you get through all the wires and do the tune up and maintanice then it sould be like it was when you bought it
that is sweet that you have had it for so long

gald you are working on the car and not a bike LOL
