Battery Question

battery's are not dangerous. it's the operators that 99% of the time make them go boom.

just make sure that the proper cables are on the proper posts.

Ok but the battery being out of the car and not grounded wont affect it? it will still charge as normal?

Grounded how? It's not grounded in the car except via the negative terminal and you have to connect the jumper cables to it and the positive to charge it, so what are you asking about.
