I knew my battery was going out, I charged it up and have been driving it for a few days, however last night my volt gauge was reading, 12, 12.2 volts while driving. Rather 13.8 before. The next morning it was dead, no power what so ever.

So i swapped a new duralast redtop battery and its still doing the same thing.

where could this loss be?

Sounds like your alternator is bad. You should be seeing 13.5-14.8 volts with the engine running on a good charging system. If you're not seeing at least 13.5 volts you need a new alternator.

Yep exactly what i was going to say! If your volt gauge is reading low 12V it is only getting about 75% of charge. Check that alternator out buddy.
