Battery Problem. Please Help

Okay so my car has sat for about 7 months while I've been working on the turbo system. I hooked the battery up the other day for the first time since parked it. All I did was roll down the passenger side window and roll it back up to make sure the window motor was good. I went to disconnect the battery and the positive terminal was super hot. Is that normal?? I've never heard of one getting hot. I didn't start the car or anything. Just hooked up the battery, moved the window up down a couple times and disconnected it. Any ideas?

test the battery. if it fails, and it probably will, get a new one.

Or more likely you've got a short possibly not even in the window circuit.

Got it figured out. I took the battery to Oreillys and had it tested/charged. All checked out fine. Got it home, put it in the car, and had the same issue. So I took a dremel to the posts and terminals and everything is fine now. They just had a little bit of corrosion causing a bad connection. No more hot terminals!! Not to mention my passenger wide window actually works fine now. Super stoked to find out that my power windows work great haha
