ok this has been going on for a while i got my battery tested and its good and also is the alternater but 95% of the time i go to start my car and all it does is click i have to unhook the neg then put it back on and mes with the pos to get it to turn over and start up . witch takes 5 to 10mins each time and some times my battery is to dead to start the car like in the morning after sitting all night.

im was thinking its not gronded to great so i add"d another ground but it didnt help to much what could this be thanks

Now do you have to jump start the car in the morning or just move the cables around? If all you have to do is move the cables just have the ends replaced and you will be good to go. If you have to have a jump then you have something on in the car killing the battery. Also to check the alternator just start the car and while running take the batt cable off. Doesn't really matter which one and if the car stays running the alt is fine.

Try cleaning your terminals and if there is any gunk on the connections, this solved my friends problem. It did the same thing.

ok got that worked out my car alarm hasnt been chirping and i gues it overrides the ignition so i hit the botten and started fine. so im going to take that out and get a new one.

but in the morning aftersitting all night or after a few hours of sitting the car dont like to start it just turns over realy slow like it has a dead bettery i odnt see anything on in the car expt my alrm light

could my alrm be killing the battery ?the horn part no longer works so i was just using my remot to lock and unlock my doors

The gunk on the battrey caused teh same problem for me.
Also, the alarm is draining the battery.
Better get an Optima battrey.

No need to waste money on an Optima if your battery is ok. Sounds like your alarm is draining but it also sounds like you have a connection issue too. Do like what was said above and get some new cable ends on and make sure all connections are good and clean.

Optima it is a buddy of mine is giving me one for free its only 2 months old so hoping it works out and isnt to big to fit in the car

i have a honda battery in there now its tiny so im thinking that has something to do with it

My car was doing the same thing to, it was so bad i went up the driveway and as i was getting into the garage my car died. but all i had to do was cleam up the (+) and (-) on the battery and the cables and it hasnt been a problem since. i also have an alarm but it has only killedm y battery when ive had my car parked in the garage for about 3 weeks
