I looked at the hood, right where the battery terminal would touch, and there was an arc/weld spot on it, and the wingnut on part of the positive side of the terminal was roasted off. It shorted out, and I think this may be part of my idle surge problem. The ISC checked out fine, but could that short have fried part of the ECU, or some other sensor? Also, I took the connector off the TPS while the car was running, and there was no change at all. Shouldn't the idle have changed when I took it off?

The idle surge is most likely from the TB, you can adj. it through the BISS screw. I have a big document all about idle serge and things that could casue them and how to fix it, if you want I will send it to you. So just pm me and Ill send it to you.

Yea, but one of the tie-down rods is missing. It was being held down with a bungee cord. I disconnected the battery, so its ok now. The car will be out of action for awhile anyway. Do you know where I can get a tie-down rod, or should I just make one?
