Hi, i just recently got my 1990 gsx and im curious on what i should buy for the car in order to make it faster and have more hp. the guy i got the car off of was an idiot and just bought a t3/t4 turbo and threw it on and called it a day, when the car cant even handle anything over 9psi with this turbo. I want my car to have more horsepower and be able to have more potential.

First thing is, since my car can not handle this turbo, i was wondering if i should trade my friend for his 14b and just use that since ill be able to run more psi with a 14b then the turbo i have now.

Second, i have a friend(i actually sorta hate him) with a ### rsx type s. (all stock). i know a stock type s will most likely beat a stock gsx and i dont want this to happen because this guy is a spoiled a**hole=)

so what i am asking is what should i first buy for my car to make it run better and push more horsepower and if a trade for a 14b will make my car faster then just running 9psi with a turbo it cant even handle. i have about 500 bucks saved up right now and i was thinking about a methanol injection kit thing, but any better suggestings that will give my car a better shot at beating this rsx? well thankyou very much=)

punishment racing makes a very nice fmic, and its not too spendy.

wow this is actually really cheap.. i was looking for other hoping they would be cheap then 500 but they were actually 1,000! but this is alot better, thank you very much. i actually should have enough money for my maintenance of the car which is very good! thanks

That is definately a small 16g. I agree that you need some PM done first to make sure you have a good foundation. Then start small so you can enjoy every step of the way. Just like any car, the engine needs to breath in and out. Get the air filter and intake mods, and the exhaust as well. Leave the turbo alone for now since it will work fine now, and later when you are ready to turn up the boost. Good luck
