Ive searched all over. Is there a thread that has the basic instructions for setting up my black box ecu on my 95?? Just wanna make sure i hook up everything correctly. Thanks

I did search! I know how to plug it in. I know i have to swap wires on coil. But i hear have to add pins to the ecu and shit. So just curious if there were instructions.

Haha wtf?? I searched black box ecu in 95, black box ecu instructions and flashable ecu in 95 2g! And didnt see any of those. Guess mt wording was off. Thanks

It's pretty simple, plug in and switch the plug wires around. It's been writin on here probably a thousand times if you search.

This is not the case here. Yes a 95 Ecu in other years This HERE would be the case... But the OP is not putting a 95 in a 97+

OP, Just an FYI...

Your best bet is going to be to run either a 97-99 Cas or a green/black top 1g one with it, Rather Than Swapping wires Etc...

This is because the 98/99 ECUs don't play nice with 95-96 Inverted CAS. The Crank Trigger is received at the wrong time so fuel and spark is sent at the wrong time and then Cylinder Index ends up wrong.
This is Because Every time there is a CAS pulse, Cylinder Index is incremented by 1 When there is a Crank Trigger, Cylinder Index is reset to zero..

Most people trying to run one Have or will likely get weird vibrations and knock because of this and have lot of misfire issues... .

Also, Yes
You do need to add one pin at Pin 79 in order to flash the ECU

See HERE

Yes! My1gdsm thanks! I just read thru so many threads and they all say something different. I do have a 1g cas on the passenger side of head. So no need to switch wires? Also im comimg from the evo world so the pin needed on 78 is the little headphone jack wire that goes into my tactrix 2.0 correct?
