Alright, I'm kind of new to tuning with the safc but I've read up alot on them through RRE and various sites. Anyway, I'm trying to get a base tune going on my car, but the wideband is going crazy no matter what I do (never tuned with one either). I'm trying to get it around 14.7 at idle, and I'll have it right around there but then 15mins later or after a drive it will either lean out or get rich depending on the adjustments I made prior.

Like I said I'm tuning with the safc2 and a wideband. But I also have a chip that is for 650's (I have pte 680 but I've read they flow the same), 2g maf, 93oct, stutterbox, nlts, etc. Main point being injectors and maf. Now I had every intension of having a 2g maf by now, but I don't yet but I still wanted to get a base tune then figure I could zero everything out and start over once I get it. So I was thinking for a start doing -15% across to copensate for the fact I still have the 1g mas in there.

Does it work like that? Because for some reason I'm adding fuel in the lower rpm range and still leaning out when I go for a drive and let off?? I have my wideband welded right after the flexpipe, the exhaust is fairly new but is it possible there is a leak somewhere causing this problem?

My main question though was if I could set up a base of ~-15-18 on the safc, if that would work since there is no 2g maf, and it flows that much more air then a 1g.

Thanks John

If your chip is set for the injectors you have, you shouldn't have to fuss with the SAFC hardly at all.

Yes it is set for the injectors I have. But it is also set up for a 2g maf which flows almost 20% more than the 1g maf I have on it now.

Well I had the chip burnt for the 2g maf because I knew it would be a very soon upgrade. However I've been having trouble finding one, and would like to just set up a base tune so I can drive it around for now until I get the 2g maf which will hopefully be asap.

You guys know what I mean? since the ECU thinks it has roughly 20% more air, I should compensate for that by taking out 20% across the board? Or do I have this totally backwards?
