Yes, I've read the vfaq many a times...what I don't get is step 20 (Install crankshaft sprocket and torque to 117 ± 9 Nm (87 ± 7 ft. lbs.).) But, it never told us how to remove the sprocket and backing plate. The manual shows a special tool being used...I was wondering if it was possible to remove it without that tool?
