Would this cause my boost to spool slowly? shop said i need a new wastegate actuator to correct my slow spool and boost creep problems.. thanks for help -ted

David15151 said:have you checked the door operation well. Unhook the wastegate arm and make sure it opens and closes fine. Also you can check the wastegate itself by just hooking up a bike pump to it and see it it will move that arm to swing the door open or not when pressure builds on it. On a side note, I had 2.5" full exhaust and would creep like crazy.. had to get a bigger flapper to stop it. Just depends on how free flowing your entire exhaust system is and how well that turbine housing is able to dump the air.
