hey guys i have been working ont his car for about a week now, and i have got it running good thanks to all the help i got here in the forums, but now i noticed since i got the car running good and got all the vacum leaks fixed, it is smoking almost all time, and it is oil smoke, but it hasnt been using hardly any oil if any. so i took off the turbo pipes to see if there was any oil from the turbo being bad, but the pipes were clean, so then i took off the manifold and noticed i had some oil in the exhaust manifold on the no 2 port but the oil was only about 2 inches in and that was all, and also there was some oil in the port on the head but the valves look dry except for 1 of them had just a trace of oil on the valve stem and the other was dry, so i was thinking i possibly have bad valve seals. what do you guys think??? im going to try and get the valve cover off tommorow and see if i can see anything out of place, but lmk what you guys think.

valve seals are a very good possibility especially since you have oil residue in one of the ports. Also somtimes the turbo seals are bad and they cause smoking.

i will check the valve seals today, because i was thinking it was maybe the turbo at first, but i checked the hard pipe leaving the turbo to the intercooler, and it was dry no sign of oil at all, then i checked the intake pipe to turbo and there wasnt any oil at all. also there was very lil shaft play on the turbo. the only sighns of oil is in the no.2 cylinder, but it puddles up in the head port and exhaust manifold, and it looks like thick fresh oil, so im sure it is coming from the valve seals, but if anyone else has any sugestions please lmk thanks for the help
