Crank sensor is giving me a constant 5V when in run position and cranking over. Is my crank sensor bad/installed incorretly or do i need to look in the direction of the ecu/wiring?

I also check the CAS and functions normally. Still not getting a spark.

Thanks

Im not sure what it should read, but you should read the resistance on the sensor to tell you if its bad.. Same with the CAS.. Im sure someone here knows, or has a shop manual handy, and could tell you what the resistance should be, along with which contacts to test..

-so im assuming you have fuel?

-explain a little more about how your car got the problem?

-use the search button and serch NO START there is a lot of wright ups on this issue you have 95-96 so most of the times it is the cam and crank sensor either way while
you have it apart you might as well do both and a new timing belt.

another option is to do a 1st gen CAS mod

if the sensor was working then i dont think it would be giving you 5v all the time. the ecu works on a 5v ref. once the crank spins past the sensor it should induce a voltage...so i doubt that it wiring but i would look it up also.
