Im pretty sure the clutch in my car is bout to go or is bad. I know if you have it in a high gear and you floor it it'll slip but it doesnt do that. Its only when i pull out.....its pretty violent. The car will start to shake and/or buck and it really only does it when i pull out or if i downshift and let the rpms fall the whole way before letting out the clutch. Need some imput, but either way its geetting a clutch.

Well after driving my car for a while after putting everything from my old talon on, yea, it doesnt really shake anymore when you pull out, but it makes a shrieking noise when you push in the clutch, and the pedal pressure is almost nonexistent. Yet the clutch still doesnt slip?!? What all is associated with the clutch, is it just the clutch itself, slave, master cylinder, and clutchfork? Ima start checking everything tomorrow, cause now when i come to a complete stop it will grind real bad going into gear and instead of 1krpm, it'll idle around 650

Well since not one person can diagnose that problem, i found the actual source of all this bullsh!t. Yea, the kid i bought the car off of neglected to tell me that one of the ears on the front of the block that the dowel pin from the tranny sits in broke the fu$k off. Now, how hard is it to weld iron cause im assuming all the dowel pins need to be in place for the tranny not to rip itself off the block?

Ok this sounds like the same problem that I am expierencing. What do these dowel pins look like because on my car when I go to push in the clutch it looks like the transmission is actually trying to separate from the engine and I think that might be the problem. When I first started having problems with it was when the heli coils that were holding the transmission to the engine broke so maybe when all this happened the dowel pins broke at the same time??

Anyone know if that one dowel pin not being in place caused 2 of the bolts to shear off and my tranny and block to have about an inch separation?
Also, if i were to get it welded, would it hold? Its the very front dowel pin hole on the block above the slave cylinder?
Lastly, is it difficult to weld iron and will i have to pull the damn motor to get it done?
