My car bogs really bad when i have my a/c on. To the point where i don't even wanna drive it with the a/c on. I'm not sure about the fuel pump rewire, but would that have any effect on the a/c? The bogging in my car is crazy compared to any other four cylinder with a/c. My buddy's Honda you can't even tell. but that's a 2.2L, so maybe a little extra torque. but it's ridiculous. and when i bought the car, the a/c wasn't installed, because when it was swapped to 6- bolt they didn't worry about it cause it was winter... (supposedly) any difference between a 6-bolt and 7-bolt a/c?
The idle adjusts fine when you cut it on. just its mad slow.

Yea I had a 95 gst 7 bolt and it bogged bad when the ac was on. Exactly how your describing it. I have a 99 gst 6 bolt now and it bogged real bad when the ac was on as well. Like you said any other 4 cylinder cars you cant tell but it must be something with the dsms.
This was before I got rid of the ac.

its an ac unit what do you expect?

If you need to get on the gas to pass or on ramp or at the drag strip turn it off for performance instead of comfort.
