Well I am wondering if my 2g maf is bad. I have been running the stock 1g intake rubber pipe with the 1g maf. I put on a Recirculated Injen Intake with a 2g maf. Made sure no boost leaks, idles at 750, and all the hose clamps are tight. Mods are a small 16g, 560cc injectors, manual boost controller, and a safc. I'm using a innovate lc-1 wideband. Car runs good and at a good air fuel ratio, but whenever i let off whenever the rpms go under 1000, the car bogs and sounds like its going to die. The air fuels go rich and come back up to normal. Whenever i am cruising and let off, the air fuels go rich and then full lean. I put the 1g maf and intake back on and the hesitation stoppped. Let me know what you guys think

Do you have a logger? See what the maf reading(hz.) does when the bogging happens, See if it goes to zero or some really high number, If you dont have a logger, I think you can view the hz. reading on the afc.

Do you have the patch harness to connect the 1g harness to the 2g maf? Maybe a bad connection, It could be a few things really...

When you let off the gas, The wideband will read full lean, And the injector duty cycle will be 0.0% Along with your 02 voltage Being .00mv.

What kind of blow off valve do you have? And the bov is recirculated right?
It might be in the tuning, Your settings on the afc should be very different between the 1g and 2g maf's.

A little more info would be great.

The bov is a turbo xs h34 and yes it is recirculated. my tune from the 1g maf and 2g maf are totally different. I am using a 2g to 1g adapter so i didn't have to mess with any of the wiring. well the wideband will go full lean when i do let off, but it goes rich for a little before going lean. it will go from 14.7 with the gas pressed, when i let off it'll go to 11 or so and then it'll kick to 22.0. i can view hz on the safc, so i'll have to put to 2g maf back in and i'll post the numbers or a video of what it does.
