Hey guys, I seem to have hit a brick wall. I reinstalled everything after my head rebuild, and also threw in a 2gmaf while i was at it. I searched the site tirelessly and found the diagam to splice a 1g to 2g harness. Now my car starts fine and ideals rough, as soon as you put it in gear and try driving..... serious bog. I do not get any cel light so i take it as i installed the plug right but maybe a bad maf????
I do not have my afc neo installed yet so i cant tune but was hoppin just to use to drive to work. Please help a fellow dsmer out.. Thank you

Well, maybe I missed something in your post, but I did not think you could do the just put in a 2G maf in a 1G and make the car run without being able to modify the airflow signal somehow.

The 2G maf has about a 20% airflow increase, so without either modifying the signal like with your AFC-Neo or modifying the program in the ECU like with a chip or by matching the Airflow increase with proportionally larger injectors (550’s are a good match for the 2g mas) the car will not run well.
