Back from tire shop with bad news

I took my car into JTS today to get my tires balanced. There was some shaking going on at about 50mpd so I thought maybe I had tires out of balance.
Well after they inspected my tires, drive train, shocks brakes, this is what they had to say.

Right front bearing loose - recommend new bearing / hub assembly
Right front strut is leaking- recommend new front struts
Driveline U joint at the rear going bad
Differential is worn (Rust coming out of it)
Not sure what they mean by rust coming out of it?:hmm:

But they wanted $995.99 to do it OMG

So I will be doing it myself.

I was just looking for any tips tricks, things to be sure to do. Part numbers, should I do other things ontop of what was listed. Any special tools I will need?
I have a feeling that my axles will not want to come out of the hub, based off the horror stories I read about having to cut them out.

Should I upgrade my entire suspension? I know I want to lower my car some to fix the wheel gap. My car will be sitting for a while so I want to do everything right fix it all at once.

LOL Just one thing after another I tell ya :banghead:

I don't believe so. I changed it 2 times. Last time was only a about 2 months ago.

I have been reading a lot and I think I will be getting Koni Yellow Shocks with H&R springs. Now my only decision is do I want the Sport or Race?
If anyone has an opinion please let me know. I need to order some asap.

Depends on you ride preference, sport will give better ride, race should give better traction :)
 
Yeah but I enjoy never hearing words locally like "drought" and "water conservation". LOL

I just now saw this... It isn't an issue. We don't shower down here. When it rains, everyone grabs a scouring pad and some lava soap and runs out into the front yard. Problem solved.

...seriously though, when it rains here, you'd think you'd accidentally walked into Burning Man or something... It is something everyone comes out to watch and walk around in. It's kinda fun actually.
I lived out there in Lancaster for a while, and in Virginia Beach for 8 years, so I know what your point of reference is. It is exactly the opposite of anything East Coast here. It's nothing like anything out that way. I really love it though, droughts, fires, crazy ass rednecks, and all.

:ohdamn: No offense, but uh, isn't that implied in "Sport" and "Race"? Or is it just me?
 
ive had kyb agx on my sw20 they were awesome. My dsm has drop zone springs and struts.. but then again I bought it this way. Both of my 03 cobras had eibach lowering springs and tokico shocks and struts. Ive also heard great things about konis theyre pricey though. Good luck. Im sure ill be replacing some thngs of that sort soon enough.
 
I ended up going with koni yellows with GC kit.

I put on new front hubs today and to my surprise the axles slipped out with no hammering or anything I was excited LOL.

Tomorrow I should have the driveline all BAck together and then take it for a drive :)
