Nice dyno! Looks like it has good spoolup and is making great torque at low rpm. It looks like the stock intake is costing you at 6500rpm+. Great numbers! Add a smim and redyno, id love to see the results

Yeah I like this turbo, I want to get a divided T3 for it and a smim in the future. But for now I want to pay off a little debt first. I think I will put the stiff spring in the boost controller and turn up the boost a little more.
 
Those BW turbo's are definitely proving themselves very nicely. What was the boost set at for the dyno run?

How high were you thinking about taking it? The smim would definitely be worth some power on your setup. That thing must sound like a Jet at 35psi, It would be great to see a vid if you have. It had very impressive low rpm numbers for the turbos size. This seems to be the advantage of the extended tip turbos and yet they shine up top as well
 
toofast82, the 2.4L motor also helps the spool and TQ numbers. But Im not trying to take anything away from the turbo.
Im running a t3 .70 a/r housing S258 and i love it. Im running it at 20psi running very rich on pumpgas with decent timing (~17* peak) and this thing rips!!! I cant wait to get 25+ on it with a good tune and see what it'll do.
 
yeah i read his profile and noticed he was running the 2.4l. But it still is impressive for what that turbo is capable of putting out

Ive looked at the compressor maps for the s256 and s258 and it seems they the characteristics to achieve good boost at low rpm on a 2.0L
 
put it on the dsm video section in the hangout and it'll be all good. Thats where i put my videos of infineon drag racing. Its a dyno video so you wont get in trouble... not like your on the street or anything
 
I got a chance to drive the car this weekend once the roads dried out. Damn this car is crazy fast. I tried a 2nd gear pull getting on the freeway but all it did was light up all four tires after 4500 rpm and went straight to the rev limiter. 3rd gear felt like when the Enterprise hit warp drive and the stars go past you. Why anyone would need more power then this in a street car is beyond my comprehension. :rocks:
 
I wish I could get a ride in a 500whp DSM. :cry: That must feel absolutely amazing.
