I have an Auto. I want to pick up a trans cooler from B&M but they have A Universal super cooler and a automatic transmission super cooler. Within those they have different models. I am confused on which one to order and the BDU's ratings.

Which one should I order ?

heres a link to the site: Coolers

do you want to use stock lines? To be honest the one you order is the one that fits well. Do you want to keep the stock lines? If you are thinking of AN lines and fitting the trans thread size is: 12 X 1.25, you will need -6AN to the 12 X 1.25 with o-ring fitting. http://www.streettunedmotorsports.com/parts/stm_dsm_auto_transmission_cooler_kit.htm

Also are you going to run it in conjunction with the stock cooler in the radiator?

Actually this is what you want to order: Automatic Transmission SuperCoolers . They are specifically made for trans coolers (it was a link from the link you gave us), and they keep the stock lines.

The higher the BTU rating the more efficient it is at cooling the fluid. Auto trans fluid like to be as cool as possible, so a larger cooler is better for high horsepower, hard shifting auto trans. To be honest the largest auto trans coole they offer in the link above is not that big, you can fit it in the stock intercooler spot, if you intercooler isn't still there.

No I am taking out the stock one and putting in the aftermarket one and relocating it where the old side mount went. I am going to use aftermarket flexible lines to help with the relocation.

So if it was you, which one would you get?

Thank you

did you click the link? any of those option will work, find one that is an appropriate size for that location. Those are made are all made for auto trans fluid and aftermarket flexible hoses.. If the stock side mount is about 8 1/2 x 12 inches then anyone of those should fit int he area.

Just so you know the factory 2g auto cooler is very small compared to the B&M and uses 3/8th's pushlock basically. I'm using it currently on my Sentra, its always cool to the touch even after a long interstate drive.
