Abbotsford,
Heya,

I've got a '91 Talon TSI and the drivers front axle support bearing bolts keep breaking. This is the 3rd time in about 2 weeks, so i wanna fix it for the last time!

I fixed it, and 2 days later they broke again. This time it was less than that!!! WHAT could be causing this?

Intermediate shaft?? I am replacing the shaft and bearing from a wrecked car (hey it was still bolted on, so it should be straight). But what else should I be looking at?? My DSM is on jack stands more than it being driven!!! :(

Thanks for an input!
James

Just a thought. I see for the front wheel drive cars, there an equal shaft length conversion (to get the same shaft as I have)...... If it keeps breaking, could I not do the reverse on this??? Just eliminate the bearing all together?? Any problems with the AWD if I were to do this???
