How do you take a axle off of a 92 Galant non turbo 4g63?

I'm taken the motor out, I have all the mounts off, but the tranny wont separate from the block so I'm just going to take the crossmember off and drop out tranny and all, but the stupid axles are in the way. Any body know how to take em off?

I know that on my car, and with a lot of cars, You pop them straight out my taking a flat head type of pry bar, and put it between cv joint and the tranny. Then pry, takes a little effort, just watch for the axel seals and make sure you don't tear them, they are cheap if you do though.
