I haven't come across an answer for this just yet. I currently have a m/t 97gsx non LSD rear diff and have come across a BFH rear diff from an a/t 95 GSX.
Aside from obtaining a passenger rear axle for the BFH diff, are these 2 items interchangeable? If no, what all needs to be done and is it possible?

Cheers

Also, someone should really write up a tech article on which rear diffs can be swapped. Would save a lot of confusion.

The rearend housing is the same for all AWD 2Gs.
The ring and pinion ratio is different for M/T and A/T.
The differentials are interchangeable, but you must match the axles to the diff. (IE: LSD axles to LSD diff, etc). There is only LSD and a non-LSD rear diffs - they are not tranny specific.

So you can use everything but the ring and pinion from that a/t rearend.
