2G awd auto no shifting into 3rd or 4th

Long story short, put a new filter and fuild and friction modifier, drove and shifted great for a few weeks, then today it wouldn't go into 4th on my way to town then on thr way back it wouldn't go in to 3rd or 4th, so I don't what to check, its a 95 tsi awd stock engine and about 160,000 miles

Are you sure you have enough fluid? You need to shift it through all the gear positions and check the fluid level with the shifter in Neutral.

im also a 3/s guy i have 2 3000gt vr4 and 2 dsmes

i put 8qts in i belive, i droped the pan and pulled the line to the cooler to drain the tq converter, and i did said process and in each gear down and up and back to the N.

You may want to double check the level. It's easy to do and it rules out one more thing.

good point will do, i know it was good a few weeks ago, but i did over look that, if thats good then im looking at end clutches, tcu?

These cel came on, P0443 purge control valve circuit, P0120 throttle position sensor, P1400 differential pressure sensor circuit.

Could you help me with what I need

My 1G auto had a similar issue with 1st and 2nd gear not shifting properly, turned out to be one of the shift solenoids. Could be a clogged valve body also.

If it's a TCU problem, you'll usually only have 3rd gear and it won't shift at all.

Think i have a tcu problem? My auto 97 does that. if i go into 3rd any higher than 3000 rpm it gets stuck there and wont shift up or down, any thing lower than 3000 rpm it wont get stuck tho/\..

Get a new TPS or make sure your current one is on there tight. I had exact same problem.
