just thought id let you know i got my inlet fuel line kit from autoalchemy, its great
when i first got it it looked great, everything fit together awesome and it comes with an earls fuel filter and everything needed to replace the full fuel inlet line + filter

install was a breeze, my fuel filter popped right off (shop put it on about 1000 miles ago when my motor was installed, filter was completely clogged), and this one screwed right into place easy as pie!

i dont have fuel pressure reading or anything, but my car isnt leaning out as much as it was (spark plugs arent super white anymore), and the overall quality is amazing

shawn will also be making my regulator fitting and line kit for me when i buy that (month or so, thats my next part)

anyway here is some pics for ya

I know there were issues with fuel leaking at where the FF adapter connects to the original hard line. It should be a inverted flare but they were not, people were trying o-rings and/or tightening the sh!t out of 'em.
I heard they changed the fitting that actually seals. Wondering if the kit did actually come with the inverted flare end for the hard line.

I bought this kit a while ago and have had zero issues with leaks. Definitely worth the $ IMO, I love this kit.

After seeing how restrictive the stock stuff is, I have no doubts that this kit adds some flow to the fuel system.

Well the leaking issue was a known fact in the PAST and I even got a reply from autoalchemy saying they have changed the fitting that "fits perfectly".But their website STILL shows the old style, thats why I'm asking. I can see in the picture it has a different fitting, I guess they did change it. BTW would you happen to remember if its an inverted female or not?

I made my own -06 lines from pump to rail with everything for $175.

Everyone knows they can make their own for about $100, right?

Yep, but I was lazy at the time, and I like the fact this kit was already assembled. I don't mind spending a little extra to help out a fellow DSMer who makes kits like these. :thumb:

I had originally planned out putting my own together and had the parts list already made out, but bought this kit because it was roughly the same price. And I was one of the ones that did have leaking problems-- I got mine over a year ago. I got some O-rings for the adapter but haven't tried reinstalling it yet-- I went with another kind of adapter that screws into the top of the stock filter. This thread is the first I've heard of them changing the adapter, so maybe I'll contact them to see if I can get one of the new ones.

whats an inverted female :p

i honestly have no idea

I meant female fitting with an inverted flare. Take a look at the stock fuel filter bottom fitting,it has an inverted flare. It's a female fitting but has a flare protruding outward like a male AN fitting, hence the inverted flare naming. Finding this kind of fittinga for a -6AN size is rather difficult as they are mostly used on brake lines which is -4AN at most.
