Auto Meter Z Series Gauges?

Looking at getting the Z series for both my oil pressure and boost gauge, this will be my first set of gauges and money is an issue. Would this be a good item?


(I would like to later get a manual boost controller to work with these gauges.

Any mbc will work with them autometer great gauges, go for them cant go wrong.

The manual boost controller works indirectly with the boost gauge. It doesnt connect to the boost gauge, It connects to the wastegate and a vacuum/boost nipple, Either on the turbo outlet or J-Pipe.

The boost gauge connects to the intake manifold vacuum/boost source,(nipple).

You can use any boost gauge you like with a manual boost controller, As stated.

And as for the autometer gauges, They are among the best on the market.

Definately get the boost gauge before connecting a MBC (Manual boost controller).
As you probably know, The factory boost gauge is inacurate, And is basically useless once you change the amount of boost you are running.

Not even joking.. if you're gonna get an oil pressure gauge get a full electronic one. You'll thank yourself in the end so you aren't running hot oil into the cabin. I'm sure if you search the forums you'll find more than one horror story about this.
Autometer's mechanical boost gauge is tried and true, been using them for quite some time myself.
