hey guys im trying to get the axles out of my automatic 98 gsx and was wondering.do I just take a pry bar and pop them out from the trans?
i already have the front of the axle off the hub ..ANOTHER THING I NOTICE IS THERE are 4 bolts go around where the axle goes in on the passenger side and not sure if they are on the driver side..does this have anything to do with it?

-thanks

A pry bar and alittle force will get the passenger's side axle shaft out of the trans. Don't take the bolts out of the trans, that is the bearing cup for the carrier bearing !!!
For the driver's side, you have to take the bolts that hold the stub shaft bracket off and remove the axle/stub shaft assembly. You should be able to tap on the bracket with a hammer and a wood block, doesn't take much to get that side out.
