assembling a head

I got my head sitting here, got it from slowboy and i need to put the lifters rollers and cams back into it. I recall seeing a special kind of lube that you can put on the the head where the cam rides so theres lubrication when you first start it up. Because as of right now its bone dry and oil would take a bit to get to the head starting up a new motor and head.

Also is there anything with the bottom end as far as lubrication before you start it up?

Assembly lube. Tell your parts guy what you're doing, and he'll fix you up. It's also good to fill the engine the first time by having the cam cover off and pouring the new oil all over the cams.

Thats how i was going to fill it up when i get everything assembled, i figured that would probably be the best thing to do. Thanks defiant, when i pick my motor up ill ask for some assembly lube.
