ASAP performance's auto 1g AWD just went 8.83@158 first pass of the night. This is now the first Dsm on link in the 8s. Videos and pictures of the time slip to come we are going to make another pass.

Here's a brief break down of the time slip
60ft: 1.39
1/8: 5.7
1/8mph: 123
1/4:8.83
1/4mph: 158

More info about the car on our group page

That's pretty impressive and have to love that 60ft with those autos.

Curious on the bold part as I thought there were more DSMs in the 8s with link. I guess everyone else is on a full stand alone.

Good job none-the-less :thumb:

That's whats up guys good stuff!!

Congrats!

Congrats for going so fast with so little. No sponsors, no huge racing budget, no "race team", nitrous only for spoolup until 6krpm in first, small 67mm, e85 pump fuel, off the shelf hughes restall, no special motor- used shortblock, 2.0l, stock unmodified crank, old school 8.5-1 compression

Sorry for the run-on sentence, just trying to point out some things most people aren't aware of.

Theres gotta be more $ than you think in it...Its never cheap to go 8s

Congrats to ASAP for gettin it done!

Great job to all involved. Just further proof that the smallish turbos can still hold their own. Props.

Of course its never cheap! especially the up keep because this car gets alot of street duty and currently holds the local KOTS title:thumb: he did it by himself without sponsorship. Self built, self tuned of course with the help of his badass friends talking shit in his ear to motivate ROFL:sneaky:
