I bought arp rod bolts for my 6 bolt engine, do I have to machine the holes in the rods for them to fit or do I have to press fit them? Is this obligatory?

They just press in. While it's usually not an issue, all 1g rods could use a big end re-size. Don't forget to use ARP moly when torquing the rod bolt nuts. Is checking or big end l maching needed? Maybe / maybe not. Should you have in done, yes!
