Just curious as to what other cars you guys like. Kind of off topic but still car related.
I am just a gear head at heart, if it burns gas/alcohol I will probably find something about it I like.

One car I have always wanted to build is a V8 coupe ratrod. I just like the looks of a old chop top coupe that has more motor than car


My dream old school car would be a 67 Impala with a 327. Ferrari, Porsche,Mercedes,and damn near anything exotic. I would like to build a smart car with a Hyabusa engine in the back LOL.
 
69 ford mustang fastback with a boss 427. That would be amaaazzzzziiinnnnggg!

My dads buddy has one of those just like that for sale!! I have a NOS kit that a friends needs sold. She never use it and its never been took out of box.
 
How big is the bottle? My fz6 could use it! Haha j/k. It would be epic...... and dangerous. Il just strap it to my back. Like a rocket ship ;)
 
About to weld the bov flange to the piping. Are there any requirements to where it goes. I was thinking about mounting it to the underside of the upper pipe to hide the bov. Just to make it look cleaner...

Anyone knows anyone who rebuilds throttle bodies? I pulled a nt TB today but I have to replace the seals to run boost. I found a guy who bead blasted and replaces the seals with" turbo" seals he also replaces the biss for 130$ is this a good deal?

But the guy said I would have to swap fuel rails because the plugs on the tb's are different? From what I see they are tge same plugs, just the turbo one has a elbow that bolts to it and the NT is just a pipe. I pulled it off a laser 90'. They have 2 1ga's and 2 1gb's. I might swap out my flip up lights for the others and leave tge back square ;)

Il just pay for it to be cleaned up and re sealed. Putting a 2g on there involves to much. I think the guy was mistaken on what I had to do. All the plugs are the same,... 2g tb kinda a downgrade ;) thanks though!!

I hit a milestone last night; I finally got the rest of the wiring finished.

I had to extend the power wires from the fuse box to the battery due to the relocation. I ended up making a copper coupler for the four wires out of the fuse box and tied them into one 4ga wire to the battery.

Did not get to work on it until late last night and was already tired but I wanted to get the engine turning. I got the battery back in, hooked up the + and – terminals , pulled the spark plugs, poured extra oil on the cam and lifters, hit the key and it turned over for the first time…

What I did notice is that the gauge cluster, lights, fuel pump, or anything electrical did not work. Since it was late, I just stopped and went in. Then it hit me that I never connected the chassis ground… :ohdamn:

So when I have time to work on it again I will connect the chassis ground and make sure all electronics are working.
 
I just swapped an 91 GS auto engine into a 91 GSX manual shell with drivetrain. I swapped in cams from a manual and a 14b turbo. I still have the auto ECU, injectors, FPR,and waste gate but would really like to swap manual ones in. My ECU is a rebuilt EPROM unit and I have a 2g maf and intake tube I could trade. I would like to buy or trade for the manual parts. I'm fine with a non EPROM manual ECU. I'm also looking for the small sheet metal part spot welded on to receive the spare tire bolt, and the rear carpet and cardboard that goes around the spare. Any help would be very appreciated, I'm trying to get this thing running.

well yeah if those and a 12 inch sub will fit i think those should fit pretty easy. but ill just have to put a tape measure on it.
 
Bored. So I wanna talk guns. My guns are a SKS (no bayonet) and a AK 47 (TAPCO picannty handgaurd /w gangster grip, spiked flash supressor, foldable stock, with a red/green dot scope, no bayonet :( ). But what I really want (hopefully next semester when I get my concealed carriers license) Is a desert eagle, I know they are not conventional or practical, but just packing a handcannon seems pretty sweet. All I want on that is DESERT EAGLE .50 down the sides (like bulletproof tony off of snatch).

What about you guys? If you don't have any what would your favorite gun be?
