It's a TSI AWD but you got the 95 part right, hahaha. She'll be waiting for ya.

I had a bunch of kids from the area throw a few offers at me but I couldn't let them get their hands on it. All they were talking about was putting a body kit and 22's on it and how badass it would be. . .

haha yea I knew that, just got GSX on the brain.
So am I going to have a Talipse? :aha:

What are you guys tuning with?

I got my steering wheel setup work. The $12 hubs in the green box works with the clock spring. Clock spring has 5 wires, so that gives you 5 options (horn, upshift, down shift, illumination, wet shot). Shifts faster. Now it is time to tackle the head gasket.

I'm gonna try changing my tps and see if that fixes the isc issue. I've adjusted the biss screw all over and nothing changes the isc at idle..hate this sensor LOL

Hey can you do me a favor? When you take the screws holding the TPS sensor out, measure them for me? I only have one screw on mine and cant take the screw out and measure it or the sensor will move LOL.:ohdamn:

I just typed a long message and it deleted itself....anyway, I only have one bolt in mine too. I'll measure it though, or try LOL and my ecu is a 95 eprom with v3 link.

Lol! I only have one in my TPS too. Another DSM thang LOL.

Someone should go check this out in little Rock.

1990 ECLIPSE GSX

That seems like a deal. If i had a garage I would throw a lowball offer and part it out. The whole runs bad after a head gasket job, sounds like jacked up timing and maybe bent valves.

Post a log. If you adjust BISS and ISC doesn't move, its bad or the car isn't trying to idle because it doesn't know its supposed to because the idle switch is not working. Do a TPS adjust in ECMlink and simulate idle switch.

Well I made it after about a 5 hour ride home, (hurricane weather the whole way back) but shes here. Time to get busy. . .

Did you try ohm testing it? Brown or black ISC?

Correct me if I'm wrong here. But isn't the isc built into our TPS sensors. And the iac is seperate from that? Or is that a 1g thing..having a 1g TB makes this a bit tougher to nail LOL

My car has and idk why, a 1g iac and a 2g tps. If you change the iac are you supposed reset something someplace for it? Cause that could be the problem.

I do believe that, I switched out my tb with new sensors and it didn't fix anything, until I pulled my ecu and was messing with some wires and re connected it and it idles a lot better now

ISC - idle speed control (electric)
IAV - idle air valve (controlled by coolant flowing thru it)

The IAV over time wears out and will cause a funny idle until engine is warm. The ISC will affect idle all the time if it goes bad.

Since it rained all day I finally got around to constructing one of these:

The thing I still can't figure out and from my experience when a sensor goes, it just goes. How come my isc is around 30 cruising and 0 at idle. I'm out of ideas, cause all my biss is doing is screwing up my idling rpm

ISC 0 at idle says the BISS is too far out, leaking, or another vac leak. Is your IAV working? Put ## finger over the BISS hole, if u feel suction, u have a leak there. A log would help

AWD swap!! I may need some parts off it if your parting it out.

Just little bits and pieces. I should have the money on the 28th hillala for them seats. Sucks getting paid every 2 weeks.

Let me know when you're ready for them, I have the seats and the belts put away for ya.

I'll check to see if it's leaking tomorrow. If it's not leaking I just need to tighten down more then. I was going out mostly LOL

Awd swap indeed. Don't know if I'll have time to start the swap, but I'll be able to gut her. Looking for some parts? Lots of good stuff before I junk her. What ever doesn't go out to you local guys is getting sold on marketplace and ebay.
Hillia, didn't know the talon had a LSD. :) And most definitely putting the twisty skirts on the Eclipse. Should look badass.
