i live in cabot now hit me up. Ill run that veloster against my 11 optima turbo. Im sure were running the same engine. 2.0 ? Ive already installed a injen intake to mine. I plan on installing an hks bov next. If yours is the same setup as mine a genesis adapter will work on the hks on the 2.0

well me and al might have worked out a deal on the six bolt block. I might start getting into building engines and reselling them on the side. I don't know what kind of a market there is for building and reselling but i do know a standard rebuild isn't that much for these and add a little extra like porting a head or adding a bse kit might make it worth my time. I know you can't really buy a decent engine from a salvage yard with less than 100xxx miles for less than 1200 bucks( unless you go to pick and pull or the forums in questionable shape). I figure if i can rebuild one for less than 900 in semi stock shape i could get 1200+ or keep it and find another shell and get back into the game.

yeah im the silver hks ssqv I work at wcmc south campus and north campus sometimes. you will have fun in the er trust me. your not by chance an emt or paramedic student to are you?

The car runs ok I still need to get an intake for it but currently im exhaust, bov, and a vacuum reroute.
I buy all my VT stuff from turbo socks. This way I can keep my 10 year 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty.

Anybody know where I can get a steel ball that goes inside t manual boost controller? I opened mine up and the ball is missing. Spring is there. Car is hitting 30psi and I want to dial it back some.
 
So I think I may have lost my ECMlink cd. Do I need it or can I just download the software from their site for free. And would that effect if I had full or lite versions. Cause I bought the full.
 
anyone know where I can get some dowel pins for the block to tranny? I really need to get these by sunday mines a 2g to 2g combo. Or can I run without them?

You can run w/out them. They more or less just help hold it to the engine. If you know the diameter of it I'm sure you could pick some up at a parts house or at a tranny shop.
 
got some friends cant even find one to help with putting the tranny back in... I cant lift it by myself because of my back but even with a floor jack all of a sudden everyone is super busy and sunday my only good day off it had to rain. fml but I will get it done maybe this morning if its dry cause I only have school today.
 
Hey guys. Dont let my tag name fool you, I'm New to the forum and kind of a educated noob with dsms. Hahahahaha! I'm in Northwest arkansas area. I'm good friends with ManticShadow and helped him rebuild his gsx in my shop. Thanks to him... he got me hooked on dsms. Looking to meet some of you guys out there sometime soon. Not much action where I'm at. There are some 2g eclipses here and there, and quite a few 3g eclipses. That's it..... unfortunately....
 
I didnt have a no start problem before I cleaned the injectors so im assuming and gonna try to give injector number 2 a more thurough cleaning and make sure the plugs are firing correctly.
 
I dont have a compresser yet so I was thinking big pump syringe with rubber hose and push injector cleaner through them while they open with a battery, but i went over to my pull apart with my friend(BrainSpilnerJR) and got 4 injectors and a fuel rail just for 40 bucks.
